This is a scan of the May 6, 1960 newletter of the Duneland Amateur Radio Association (DARA), called The Signal. The DARA club call was K9MVV. Chuck found this newsletter that shows he took the Novice exam on April 18th (see page 3, at the very top of the page).
Thanks to the kind help of Steve W3HF, Chuck has learned that his original Novice call was KN9YPC, and it first appeared in the Fall 1960 callbook.
